How to play Daily Code

A secret code of four different digits (0-9) is chosen each day. Everyone gets the same one.

Rules

• Guess four different digits.
• A filled circle means one digit is correct and in the right place.
• An empty circle means one digit is in the code but in the wrong place.
• You have eight guesses.

Tips

• Open with digits that cover a lot of ground, like 0123, then 4567.
• Keep a list of which digits are ruled out.
• Change one position at a time to learn what each digit does.
• Share copies your guesses as coloured dots (no digits), so it never spoils the code.
