How to play Daily Groups

Sixteen words hide four groups of four that share something: a category, a word that can precede or follow them, or something hidden inside them.

Rules

• Select four words and press Submit.
• If they form a group, it is revealed. If not, you lose one of four mistakes.
• "One away!" means three of your four words belong together.

Tips

• Start with the group you are surest of; wrong guesses cost mistakes.
• Watch for words that seem to fit two groups. The leftover group often settles it.
• Use Shuffle to see the words in a fresh order.
• Share copies your result as a colour grid, without the words, so friends can play the same puzzle unspoiled.
